San Diego Comic-Con 2015: Events, Hosts, TV & Film Panels, Fandom Noms [Updated]

SHOWTIME will bring the world of PENNY DREADFUL to San Diego Comic-Con, starting with an autograph signing with star Reeve Carney, on Saturday, July 11 at 3 p.m. at the Entertainment Earth booth #2343. Additionally, makeup artist and YouTube sensation Alexys Fleming will transform five lucky PENNY DREADFUL fans into characters from the show, including the Creature, the werewolf and a witch, through her masterful makeup applications. The transformations will take place at the Entertainment Earth booth on Friday, July 10.

SHOWTIME, in partnership with Bif Bang Pow! has once again teamed up to bring seven all-new, six-inch action figures inspired by PENNY DREADFUL characters, exclusive to San Diego Comic-Con, including Vanessa Ives, Ethan Chandler, Dorian Gray, Dr. Frankenstein, Sir Malcolm, the Creature and the werewolf. The figures will be available for the first time on July 8th at the Entertainment Earth booth #2343.

A panel has been announced for July 10th in Hall H at 2:30P.M.. It’ll be moderated by late-night host and show fan Seth Meyers.

The panelists will include Game of Thrones executive producer Carolyn Strauss, episode director David Nutter and cast members Alfie Allen, John Bradley, Gwendoline Christie, Liam Cunningham, Natalie Dormer, Conleth Hill, Hannah Murray, Sophie Turner, Carice van Houten and Maisie Williams.

There will be autograph signings afterward at 4:15 p.m.

ABC’s Once Upon A Time is coming back to the San Diego confab…Showing up this year on Saturday, July 11 from 10-10:45 AM will be Ginnifer Goodwin, Jennifer Morrison, Lana Parrilla, Josh Dallas, Emilie de Ravin, Colin O’Donoghue, Robert Carlyle, Rebecca Mader, Sean Maguire as well as executive producers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz. The session will be moderated by Yvette Nicole Brown. In addition to giving fans a sneak peek, there’s typically a special announcement during the Once Upon A Time panel about a new character or actor debuting in the fall.

ABC will be showing off their new series The Muppets on Saturday from 3-4 PM in Room 6A. Panel will include executive producers and co-writers Bill Prady and Bob Kushell, director Randall Einhorn and EP Bill Barretta who is also the voice of Pepe, Dr. Teeth and Rowlf…Damian Holbrook will be moderating.

On Saturday, July 11 at 2:30pm, Nerdist’s Chris Hardwick will host a panel that looks into the studio’s upcoming slate, offering content from films like Guillermo del Toro’s period horror thriller Crimson Peak, Duncan Jones’ video game adaptation Warcraft and the holiday horror film Krampus, the second feature film from Trick ‘r Treat director Michael Dougherty.

Legendary will also maintain a booth (#3920) on the exhibit hall floor, which is set to host a flurry of activity.
