Superhero film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 2 (2022) has officially begun production. Sony Pictures Animation Lead Animator Nick Kondo made the production announcement on Twitter:

That film made $375.3 Million at the worldwide box office and received numerous awards, including: Best Animated Feature at the 91st Academy Awards, 46th Annie Awards, 24th Critics’ Choice Awards, and 76th Golden Globe Awards.
