The CW has unloaded some new photos from the upcoming episode of Supergirl featuring appearances by guest stars Teri Hatcher and Kevin Sorbo. Their roles have been kept under wraps for quite a while, but these new images may have revealed about their characters.

The preview for next week’s episode showed some clues as to who Teri Hatcher and Kevin Sorbo would be playing. It appears as if they might be playing Mon-El’s (Chris Wood) parents but it hasn’t been confirmed yet. However, these promotional stills may have revealed who they are. The descriptions for their characters reveal that Hatcher is playing Rhea while Sorbo is portraying Lar Gand. Both of them seem to be in their Daxum attire if that means anything.

For those familiar with the comics, Lar Gand was another name for Mon-El. It looks like the show may be taking the character in a whole different direction or Mon-El may have been lying about his name the whole time. With Rhea, she remains a mystery as the name doesn’t have any connection to the Superman/Supergirl mythos or in the DC Comics universe. When Kara (Melissa Benoist) learns the truth about Mon-El, will she accept him or will she break things off with them. Who do you think Hatcher and Sorbo could be playing?

In the last few images, we do get a glmpse of the Music Meister (Darren Criss), who will be involved in the upcoming musical crossover between Supergirl and The Flash. Perhaps we will be seeing that take shape towards the end of the episode.
