When 16 year old Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) volunteers to takes her sister Prim’s (Willow Shields) place in the Games, she will leave behind her family and her friend Gale Hawthorne (Liam Hemsworth), meet her fellow tribute Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson), and be pitted against other tributes from fellow districts who have trained for this their whole life. Katniss must try her hardest to do the unthinkable—win the Hunger Games.”

This movie trailer actually makes me want to see this film. I had no idea the contestants were trained before the contest. Very cool. It’s too bad the R-rated violence (Battle Royale) has been taken out of the story.
The Hunger Games also stars Donald Sutherland, Lenny Kravitz, Stanley Tucci, Isabelle Fuhrman, Amandla Stenberg, Willow Shields, Alexander Ludwig, Toby Jones, Wes Bentley, and Jacqueline Emerson.
