THE HUNTSMAN: WINTER’S WAR (2016) Movie Trailer 3: CGI Warfare Without Snow White

The Huntsman Winter’s War Trailer 3. Cedric Nicolas-Troyan‘s The Huntsman: Winter’s War (2016) movie trailer 3 stars Alexandra Roach, Sam Hazeldine, Edd Osmond, Lynne Wilmot, and Mark Haldor. The Huntsman: Winter’s War plot synopsis’ “Long before the evil Queen Ravenna (Theron) was thought vanquished by Snow White’s blade, she watched silently as her sister, Freya (Blunt), suffered a heartbreaking betrayal and fled their kingdom. With Freya’s ability to freeze any enemy, the young ice queen has spent decades in a remote wintry palace raising a legion of deadly huntsmen — including Eric (Hemsworth) and warrior Sara (Chastain) — only to find that her prized two defied her one demand: Forever harden your hearts to love.

When Freya learns of her sister’s demise, she summons her remaining soldiers to bring the Magic Mirror home to the only sorceress left who can harness its power. But once she discovers Ravenna can be resurrected from its golden depths, the wicked sisters threaten this enchanted land with twice the darkest force it’s ever seen. Now, their amassing army shall prove undefeatable… unless the banished huntsmen who broke their queen’s cardinal rule can fight their way back to one another.”

This particular trailer is most-likely the best action trailer for the film while the previous trailers were more focused on the storylines. I am not a fan of all the CGI. I believe the strength of Snow White and The Huntsman was the main character’s journey. This film does not have that element. In its place is the creation story of Eric.

Riddle me this though: If all of this happened before the events in Snow White and The Huntsman, why are Eric (Chris Hemsworth) and Ravenna (Charlize Theron) strangers to each other in Snow White and The Huntsman? Are they Droids? Did they both have their memories wiped? Or is the culprit a spell that effects the both of them?

The Huntsman: Winter’s War also stars Emily Blunt, Sam Claflin, Jessica Chastain, Sheridan Smith, Sophie Cookson, Colin Morgan, Nick Frost, and Rob Brydon.
