Tina Fey and Paul Rudd star as a Princeton admissions officer and a struggling educator who convinces her to give a less-than-ace student a chance at an Ivy-league education in Admission. Available as a 2-disc BD/DVD set for $34.98 or a 1-disc DVD for $29.98, this romantic comedy presents a slight departure from Fey’s 30 Rock material, but does not stray too far from the familiar for her fans.

Harmony Korine is back with his irreverent take on young America with Spring Breakers. In his latest, four college girls get pinched robbing a bank to finance their Spring Break vacation. They get bailed out by a sleazy drug dealer who happens to dabble in arms deals and who happens to have a job for them in return for their freedom. Spring Breakers hits the shelves July 9, 2013.

John Hughes/Brat Pack fans rejoice! Today two of the most notable films in the genre get a new coat of Blu-ray paint: The Breakfast Club and Sixteen Candles. Both star mid-80’s sweetheart Molly Ringwald in two of her most memorable roles from the trifecta. (The third film was Pretty in Pink.) Sixteen Candles arrives in a slipcover with original pressing for $19.98 and features a Blu-ray disc, UltraViolet Copy, Digital Copy, BD-Live, and mobile features. The Breakfast Club also offers a single Blu-ray disc, UltraViolet Copy, Digital Copy, and BD-Live in a slipcover with original pressing for the same price. These are great buys for the Hughes fan looking to shore up a library of VHS tapes or standard DVDs.

Tyler Perry’s Temptation joins his numerous other formulaic films on home video today. In Temptation, a marriage counselor tests her own training when she meets an exciting, rich businessman who promises her all the passion and partying her staid high-school sweetheart husband can’t offer. Temptation has a SRP of $39.99 for the Blu-ray disc.
