TV Show Review

TV Review: 24: Season 8, Episode 20-21: 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.

24: Season 8‘s two part series finale, really just episodes 20: 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. and 21: 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., brought to an end what began as one of the most innovative spy shows on television. Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) wanting to shot Jason Pillar (Reed Diamond) but having no justification to do was an entertaining mini drama to witness within the finale. I figured that President Allison Taylor (Cherry Jones) would have a change of heart but I never expected  President Charles Logan (Gregory Itzin) to kill his own man then to commit suicide. Too bad he botched it, like The Commandant in Shutter Island, and is now a vegetable. Goodbye Jack, you and 24 give its audience many great times. Its too bad the show lost its way, began contradicting itself, and the plot holes began growing bigger, bigger, and bigger.
