TV Review: SONS OF ANARCHY: Season 3, Ep.1: So

sons-of-anarchy-season-3-ep-so-header

The first episode of Sons of Anarchy: Season Three – entitled So – has premiered. As expected, Jackson ‘Jax’ Teller (Charlie Hunnam) is a wreak over his son being kidnapped and Gemma Teller Morrow (Katey Sagal) is still on the run. Many unexpected things happened in this episode, especially in its last act. Loyal fans will actually voice a loud: “OOHHH” when a certain somebody is killed. The viewer will never see it coming nor will they see who Gemma visits from her past . I hope that character is featured more on the show because their reunion was good. Tara Knowles (Maggie Siff) cracking in surgery and her boss – whom is gunning for her – seeing that will have repercussions.

The ending of the episode held the biggest surprises. The WTF moment was followed by an unbelievable moment. The police have one of the shooters in custody and they let Jax – in front of everybody – slam his head against concrete repeatedly. This made no sense. What are the police there for? Can’t they do their job? SAMCRO members should take the police exam if they can do things like that in public.
