TV Mini-series Trailer

VINYL (2016) Teaser Trailer: Martin Scorcese & Mick Jagger do 1970s NYC

Vinyl Trailer

Vinyl Trailer. Martin Scorcese‘s Vinyl stars Bobby Cannavale, James Jagger, Ray Romano, Olivia Wilde, and Andrew “Dice” Clay. Vinyl‘s plot synopsis: “A New York music executive in the late 1970s hustles to make a career out of the city’s diverse music scene.”This looks like pure Scorcese. The man is in his 70s and is still cranking out gold like this, and we should appreciate that. Though the creator of this series seems to be Terence Winter (who’s no slouch, either) there will be Scorcese-directed stuff here, and you can tell.

In my opinion, this looks fantastic, like a delicious way to travel back to the 1970s and visit New York in its prime. The cast is great and I’ll definitely be watching this.

I grew up in Hamburg to a German father and Ecuadorian mother. Obsessive student of film, Hip-Hop, and stand-up comedy. I love the dark dreambox that is the cinema auditorium. I love mountains and the ocean, but am equally exhilarated by the jungle of the city. I hope to one day create something that hits someone in the brain with thunderous effect.
