Gianmaria Pezzato‘s Voldemort: Origins of the Heir (2017) short film teaser trailer stars Stefano Rossi, Davide Ellena, Andrea Baglio, Andrea Deanesi, and Aurora Moroni. Voldemort: Origins of the Heir‘s plot synopsis: “Voldemort – Origins of the Heir talks about the early life of Voldemort, powerful dark Wizard from the Harry Potter saga, and all the reasons that made his name so well-known and feared among his peers.”

I never seen a single Harry Potter film. I have never read a single Harry Potter book. Those two facts did not hinder my appreciation of this short film trailer in the slightest. Voldemort: Origins of the Heir looks so good, in fact, that the short film earned the attention of Warner Bros.

We had a private and confidential discussion with Warner Bros who contacted us during the period of the crowdfunding campaign. The only thing we can say is that they let us proceed with the film, in a non profit way, obviously.

Remember the uproar by Saban when the Power Rangers short film was released and the Star Trek short film was about to be released? Warner Bros. obviously wanted to avoid all of that negative attention by fans of their Harry Potter properties.

Voldemort: Origins of the Heir also stars Maddalena Orcali, Andrea Bonfanti, Gelsomina Bassetti, Alessio Dalla Costa, and Daniele Decarli.
