WATER FOR ELEPHANTS (2011) International Movie Trailer: Francis Lawrence, Robert Pattinson

Robert Pattinson, Water for Elephants

The Water for Elephants International Movie Trailer has premiered. Francis Lawrence‘s Water for Elephants (2011) stars Robert Pattinson, Reese Witherspoon, Christoph Waltz, James Frain and Hal Holbrook. Water for Elephants‘ plot synopsis: “As a young man, Jacob Jankowski (Pattinson) was tossed by fate onto a rickety train that was home to the Benzini Brothers Most Spectacular Show on Earth. It was the early part of the great Depression, and for Jacob (Holbrook), now ninety, the circus world he remembers was both his salvation and a living hell. A veterinary student just shy of a degree, he was put in charge of caring for the circus menagerie. It was there that he met Jazzy [ Jones] the beautiful equestrian star married to August (Waltz), the charismatic but twisted animal trainer. And he met Rosie, an un-trainable elephant who was the great gray hope for this third-rate traveling show. The bond that grew among this unlikely trio was one of love and trust, and, ultimately, it was their only hope for survival.” Who could have thought a movie about the circus could be so compelling. There is a fascinating underbelly I was not expecting when I decided to give this movie trailer a watch. Check out the Water for Elephants international movie trailer below and leave your thoughts on it. Water for Elephants will be released on April 22, 2011.
