WOLVERINE: Hugh Jackman Teases Last Time As Wolverine

Hugh Jackman Wolverine

Hugh Jackman Teases One Final Round as Wolverine. Hugh Jackman has played the role of claw-wielding mutant Wolverine seven times in the last 15 years, so will his next outing be the final time we see him? Well, the Aussie actor’s ominous message seems to confirm that.

In Hugh Jackman’s Instagram account, the actor posted a cryptic message that may signal the end of the road for his iconic run as fan-favorite mutant Wolverine. In the message along with a picture of his hands with one wielding claws, he wrote, “Wolverine, One Last Time. HJ” We don’t know what this means, but if it is the inevitable, then it will be sad news for fans of the X-Men franchise.

The other question we wanted to know was whether his possibly final role as Wolverine would be for X-Men: Apocalypse or the third Wolverine movie. Well, director James Mangold seemed to have answered that when he tweeted back Jackman’s message and added, “Can’t wait to make this, HJ! Been toiling quietly a while now!” Even The Wrap reported that their sources are telling them that this is for the follow-up to The Wolverine. Filming for Wolverine’s third solo outing is expected to release on March 3, 2017.

Are you guys sad that the next Wolverine film may possibly be the last time we see Hugh Jackman playing Wolverine?
