The 100: Heavy Lies the Crown Trailer and Images
The TV show trailer & photos for The CW’s The 100: ‘Heavy Lies the Crown,’ feature stars Eliza Taylor, Bob Morely, Marie Avgeropoulos, Henry Ian Cusick, Paige Turco, Lindsey Morgan, Christopher Larkin, Devon Bostick, Richard Harmon, Jarod Joseph, Chelsey Reist, Jonathan Whitesell, and Isaiah Washington. Guest stars include Tasya Teles, Eliza Faria, Darcy Laurie, Ben Sullivan, Nadia Hilker, and Zach McGowan.
If the ball swinging return of Echo (Tasya Teles) wasn’t enough, to take minds off of Bellamy’s (Bob Morley) last round of ‘character slips,’ then a do-or-die mission – complete with a full day’s supply of moral dilemma – seems to be just what the showrunners ordered, for the second installment of The 100‘s fourth season.
With synchronized fallout storms in the forecast, Bellamy is tasked with retrieving some useful Old World hardware. Since it absolutely had to be within Ice Nation boundaries, Bellamy’s band must risk breaking the hard-won peace, secured by Clarke (Eliza Taylor); since a number of Red Shirts have been stepping up to the mic, lately, leave it to Bryan (Jonathan Whitesell) & a few others to suggest fixing what they find there, at the expense of their greater mission; and since political procedural drained the lifeblood out of the Star Wars prequels, leave it to Echo to keep Roan (Zach McGowan) looking over his crown burdened shoulders.
While the trailer focuses entirely on Bellamy’s side quest, promo images from KSiteTV (via The CW) preview the episode’s Polis court intrigues.
Images from The 100 ‘Heavy Lies the Crown’:
“It’s really not that heavy. It’s the cheap & silly look of the thing that makes it a load to bear. Not that any of you get to say that, of course.”
“I’m throwing so much shade, you’re all gonna need flashlights to get through this meeting. Not that any of you get to do that, of course.”
“Then why am I even here? If I can’t be fighting, there should at least be trolling….”
“You don’t qualify as adult until you’re made to realize that parliamentary discourse was a necessary element to the Star Wars prequels. That, and as representative of the 13th Tribe, I get to choose one young person to spirit-crush at these meetings. Sorry-not-sorry.”
“Well, I, for one, think your crown looks cheap & silly.”
“Sigh. Well, now we have to fight….”
“Ha! You are so easily baited. I always get a rise out of men like you. Wait….”
“- Never mind how that sounded, fight me!”
“Damned tight pants gonna be the death of me… not mine – yours!”
“Now, now, this is why I recommended you avoid fighting any more female cast members. They’ll make you leak out of places – some of these actually more health-risk, than embarrassing.”
“Why do I get the feeling I’d be in the exact same predicament, had I stayed on Shameless?”
“Any of you guys seeing what I’m trying to unsee, over there?”
“Seems I’m always having to unsee things, whenever Harper puts her clothes back on….”
“We’re going to have to make a hard choice, about this upcoming play.”
“Well, it’s a game no one’s seen or played in generations, from an entirely forgotten period of time… and I still can’t stand The Patriots.”
“So we’re agreed: we’re backing The Falcons, this Super Bowl Sunday.”
“This is… so not how this convo got started – can we not talk about other broadcasts, that don’t get us our paychecks, please!?”
‘Heavy Lies the Crown’ airs Feb. 8, 9:00 pm EST, on The CW.
