A DANGEROUS METHOD (2011) Movie Trailer: David Cronenberg, Viggo Mortensen

The A Dangerous Method Trailer has premiered. David Cronenberg‘s A Dangerous Method (2011) movie trailer stars Viggo Mortensen, Michael Fassbender, Keira Knightley, Vincent Cassel, and Sarah Gadon. A Dangerous Method‘s plot synopsis: “Based on Christopher Hampton’s acclaimed 2002 play “The Talking Cure,” the film centers on the relationship between Carl Jung (Fassbender) and Russian-Jewish patient Sabina Spielrein (Knightley), who ultimately causes a rift between Jung and mentor Sigmund Freud (Mortensen) but also catalyses strong findings in regards to Jungian psychoanalysis.”

This looks very good and twisted. David Cronenberg has a great eye and I look forward to seeing how his eye is used in a drama movie. I can’t say I have ever seen Keira Knightley playing such a risky part before. I thought the same thing about Jennifer Connelly in Requiem for a Dream. Both women seem like victims of circumstance but I do not know if the situations Knightley finds herself in within A Dangerous Method will be as precarious and salacious as Connelly’s in Requiem for a Dream.

A Dangerous Method also stars Arndt Schwering-Sohnrey, Mareike Carrière, André Dietz, Christian Serritiello, Torsten Knippertz, Katharina Palm, and Andrea Magro.
