AGENT CARTER: Marvel Series Officially Gets Cancelled [ABC]

Hayley Attwell Agent Carter Season Two

ABC Cancels Agent Carter After Two Seasons. Peggy Carter may have just finished her last mission as ABC has announced that they have cancelled the well-received Agent Carter after two low-rated seasons. It certainly is a disappointment for fans of the series and the beloved character.

The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that the Marvel series would not be returning next season. It’s no surprise the series wasn’t picked up due to the low viewership that the show received since it’s broadcast. The series, which follows Steve Roger’s one-time love interest from Captain America: The First Avenger working for the SSR, had Hayley Atwell reprise her role from the film. It’s probably too soon to tell if Peggy Carter will ever return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which may possibly be through flashbacks since her fate was revealed recently in the present day.

With Agent Carter behind her, Hayley Atwell already has another show lined up with the network called Conviction, where she would also play the lead. So are you sad to see Agent Carter get cancelled? What will you miss the most about it?
