AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.: Beginning of the End Trailer, Clips, & Image

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. The Art of Level Seven Phantom City Creative

TV show trailer, clips& poster for ABC‘s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season finale. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. wraps its first season with questions, answers, confrontations, the settling of scores, and at least one more appearance by a big screen character.

While the trailer more or less covers all of the above, the two addition preview clips provide a snap shot of three different angles leading into the conflicts to come. Former Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) works out plan of attack details, and pumps up his team, while Raina (Ruth Negga), called in to address a regenerated Garrett’s (Bill Paxton) manically augmented state of mind, finds him more akin to the Clairvoyant she once had so much faith in (but he was only pretending to be). While Raina takes the opportunity to seek answers, Ward (Brett Dalton) is left outside, eye to evil eye with Deathlok (J. August Richards). Speaking of Deathlok, we are also given a look at Deathlok behind the scenes operations, which turns out to be just another day at the office, when you work for Cybertek.

As the season finale, ‘Beginning of the End’ also marks the end of the Uprising arc’s promotional poster series, ‘The Art of Level Seven.’ For the final print, Phantom City Creative drew inspiration from the original Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. cast poster, updating it to somewhat ironic effect – complete with a displaced, and now casually dressed Ward.

Series executive producer Jeff Bell, on the final print & season finale:

As of right now, S.H.I.E.L.D. is in disarray — if not fallen — and we have people who don’t really care who are determined to bring certain other characters to justice no matter what. And through episodes 21 and 22, I think you’ll see that we… set a compass for what season two will be once they tell us we officially have a season two. Because we are called Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and it would be Marvel’s Agents of Something, Marvel’s Agents of Stay Tuned And Find Out, Marvel’s Agents of Hydra…there’s so many different ways, but we are called Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. so whether it’s official or not, that’s the fun: us trying to figure out what this looks like now.

‘The Beginning of the End’ also stars Chloe Bennet, Ming-Na Wen, Iain De Caestecker, Elizabeth Henstridge, and  guest stars B.J. Britt, Amy Acker, and Samuel L. Jackson. It airs May 13, 2014, on ABC, at 8:00pm EST.
