Putting Olaf’s Frozen Adventure before Coco in cinemas is much like putting Toy Story that Time Forgot before Big Hero 6 (the latter didn’t actually happen, I’m just bringing that up as a comparison piece).

My area (the UK and Ireland) actually had Olaf’s Frozen Adventure released in cinemas nationwide for one weekend only along with Frozen (I saw the short myself and I really liked it, btw; I’d say it’s as good as TTtTF). I would also add that maybe Disney in the UK and Ireland actually had a much better strategy with Olaf’s Frozen Adventure than Disney did for everywhere else around the world, because the former was actually a big success. People like myself really bought into it, and mentally prepared ourselves for it. Online ticket sales were selling out (last I checked my local cinema’s website) and cinema screens like the one I went to in the Brunswick Moviebowl in Derry were 80-98% packed!
