ARROW: Manu Bennett Set to Return as Slade Wilson/Deathstroke [The CW]

Manu Bennett Deathstroke Arrow Return

Manu Bennett Reprising Role of Slade Wilson on Arrow

Oliver (Stephen Amell) is about to get some help from one of his formidable foes in taking down Prometheus. It is being confirmed that this ally is none other than Deathstroke himself. That’s right, Manu Bennett will be making a return to Arrow as Slade Wilson soon.

Deathstroke has been one of the biggest villains that The CW series has had since the first season. After a great second season, the show struggled to find someone who’s just as good as the dangerous assassin. Not even Ra’s al Ghul or Damien Darhk could top Slade Wilson. Prometheus has been great to have, but even pales in comparison to Deathstroke. In the past, Manu Bennett made it clear that he wasn’t going to return to the series after disliking the direction his character was going into season three.

Well, it appears that Slade Wilson will definitely be returning to the show after Stephen Amell revealed a photo of Slade’s mask on his Twitter feed confirming that Bennett was going to reprise his role. It’s not entirely clear if he’s appearing this season or the next one. Our guess is that we might be seeing him toward the end of the season as we earlier found out that Oliver will be asking for help from an unlikely ally. Who better than Slade Wilson to help out, especially if he ends up backstabbing Oliver and have him face-off against his former friend again.
