Box Office June 15-17, 2012Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted was Number One at the box office for the second weekend in a row with $35.5 Million for $120.4 Million so far. Prometheus (reviewed here: Prometheus (2012) Film Review) was Second Place with $20.2 Million. Rock of Ages premiered in Third Place with $15 Million. Snow White and the Huntsman was Fourth with $13.8 Million for $122.6 Million so far. That’s My Boy premiered in Fifth Place with $13 Million.  Men in Black 3The AvengersThe Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, Moonrise KingdomWhat to Expect When You’re Expecting rounded out the top ten respectively.

Rock of Ages is an American musical film directed by Adam Shankman. The film is an adaptation of the 2006 Chris D’Arienzo comedy rock/jukebox Broadway musical of the same name. The film stars country singer Julianne Hough and Diego Boneta with an ensemble cast including Tom Cruise, Russell Brand, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Paul Giamatti, Malin Åkerman, Bryan Cranston, with Alec Baldwin and Mary J. Blige.

That’s My Boy is a 2012 American comedy film starring Adam Sandler, Andy Samberg, and Leighton Meester. The original script was written by David Caspe. Sean Anders directed the film.
