Set Designer

1. The person responsible for translating a production designer’s vision of the movie’s environment into a set which can be used for filming. The set designer reports to the art director…designers are responsible for creating scale models of the scenery, renderings, paint elevations and scale construction drawings as part of their communication with other production staff.
