GREEN LANTERN (2011) Trailer 3: Martin Campbell, Ryan Reynolds

Ryan Reynolds, Green Lantern

The Green Lantern Trailer 3 has premiered. Martin Campbell‘s Green Lantern (2011) stars Ryan Reynolds, Angela Bassett, Peter Sarsgaard, Tim Robbins, and Blake Lively. Green Lantern‘s plot synopsis: “A test pilot is granted a mystical green ring that bestows him with otherworldly powers, as well as membership into an intergalactic squadron tasked with keeping peace within the universe.” We previously posted the Green Lantern (2011) Movie Trailer and Green Lantern (2011) Wonder-Con Footage. This particular movie trailer will be shown in theaters in 3D. The back story on the Green Lantern Corps showcased in this movie trailer is very good as is its presentation. Like I said previously when the Wonder-Con footage was released, I doubt the film will take itself as seriously as is is being portrayed in this movie trailer but maybe it is. Maybe there are just a few jokes and the tone is solid and even. I’m hoping, these two pieces of advertising are giving me hope. Green Lantern also stars Geoffrey Rush, Dennis Haysbert, John Larroquette, and Mark Strong. Watch Green Lantern movie trailer 3 below and leave your thoughts on it.
