HOUSE OF CARDS: Season 4 TV Show Trailer: Claire Threatens Frank’s Election [Netflix]

House of Cards Season 4 Promo. Netflix‘s House of Cards: Season 4 TV show trailer stars  Kevin Spacey, Robin Wright, Joel Kinnaman, Mahershala Ali, and Molly Parker. House of Cards: Season 4’s plot synopsis: “Kevin Spacey (as Francis Underwood) and Robin Wright (as Claire Underwood), whose characters have always been each other’s’ strongest allies, showing cracks in their relationship. In an election year, the stakes are now higher than ever, and the biggest threat they face is contending with each other.”

House of Cards: Season 3 ended in a way very few people could have seen coming at the beginning of the season between United States President Francis Underwood and First Lady Claire Underwood, especially considering their group goal of power and becoming people of note.

This trailer shows some of the shockwaves that Claire’s declaration (at the end of Season 3) have had and that Frank’s election campaign is still on-going. The music during the trailer makes it sound as if the upcoming season will be a macabre horror movie of some kind, full of violin and piano solos.

I enjoyed the divergent background overtone of the trailer with Frank talking about coming from nothing while Claire had a privileged upbringing.

The violence in the trailer was enticing but brief, not giving too much away, as were shots of some of the new characters.

House of Cards: Season 4 also stars Michael Kelly, Neve Campbell, Elizabeth Marvel, Nathan Darrow, Kim Dickens, and Molly Parker.
