HYBRIDS (2013) Short Film: Daniella Evangelista gets Alien Revenge

Hybrids Short Film. Patrick Kalyn‘s Hybrids (2013) short film stars Daniella Evangelista and Kaitlyn Bernard. Hybrids‘ plot synopsis: “In the wake of an alien infestation, an ex-special forces soldier loses her daughter in alien attack. Seeking revenge, she leads a team on a mission deep into alien territory. Soon, she makes a discovery which makes her question her allegiance.”

Patrick Kalyn has been a world class visual effects artist for over 10 years on top grossing films such as Avatar, King Kong, and District 9. Patrick segued into directing with short films Somnolence and Hybrids and is in development on his first feature.

Joining Patrick Kalyn behind the scenes by producer Gabriel Napora, cinematographer Cliff Hokanson, and co-producer Dennis “Lux” Jappinen.

This is a good-looking short film, action packed, and well made. Wasn’t excepting the ending. I hope Kalyn makes a series out of this.
