The first official trailer is now online for J.J. Abrams‘ Star Trek. The bootleg of the J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek trailer was released over the weekend but was of varying, dubious quality. Now everyone can seat back and enjoy the sights and sounds of Abrams’ creation. If you want to know the plot of the film, which isn’t included in this first trailer, go here.

I have to admit the first scene with young kirk wrecking the Mustang was great (Speed Racerish), yet when he said “James Tiberius Kirk” I thought, “man he should have just said,,, “James !!!”

I hope there aren’t too many of those awkward moments in the film…
It was a little too Indy 3 for my taste.
As long as its not like Indy 4.
Amen film-book! I’m excited about the Star Trek reboot. Looks like it’ll have more action and sex appeal than the last…well, in a long long time.

They added sex appeal to Star Trek: Enterprise and forgot about the rest eventually. The Xindi? Give me a fraking break. I hope that isn’t the fate of this film.
I gave up quickly on Enterprise, sounds like a smart move. I’ve got my fingers crossed for the movie.
