Keira Knightley replaces Anne Hathaway in Laggies. The casting of Keira Knightley in lieu of Anne Hathaway answers the question of who will star in the Lynn Shelton directed film. Keira Knightley will play “a woman who hides out for a week with a 16-year-old (Chloë Grace Moretz) under the pretense of going to a work retreat after her boyfriend proposes.” Anne Hathaway had to drop out of Laggies because of her casting in Interstellar and the scheduling conflict it created.
On the people behind-the-scenes of Laggies: “Steve Golin, Alix Madigan and Rosalie Swedlin will produce Laggies for Anonymous Content.”
