Roland Emmerich’s full 2012 Movie Trailer is Epic

2012-second-trailer-header

Jesus Christ is this 2012 Trailer impressive. Frak! The CGI alone is top notch plus a decent story this time around…wow. Roland Emmerich has REALLY outdone himself with this trailer for 2012 and hopefully the film as well. Some of Emmerich past films I have enjoyed: Universal Soldier, Stargate, The Patriot (the first two acts), Trade and some had great trailers then sank when you watched them multiple times: Independence Day, Godzilla (Noooo), The Day After Tomorrow. 2012‘s synopsis: “An academic researcher (I’m guessing John Cusack) leads a group of people in a fight to counteract the apocalyptic events that were predicted by the ancient Mayan calendar.” Watch the trailer and leave your thoughts on it below. 2012 will be released on November 13, 2009.

WOW!! I’m at loss of words! That is amazing! I don’t know how good the story and character development is in 2012 (something most sci-fi films lack), but the visual effects are absolutely mind blowing. And it’s been a while since I watched a John Cusack film too, so this is going to be a treat regardless.

Based on Emmerichs track record, this looks just like another world wide disaster flick.
Cusack is the ONLY reason I might see this.

You’re right about his track record but the special effects and Cusack, I think I will have to see this, if nothing else for the spectacle.
