SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN 2: Universal’s Kristen Stewart Statement

Kristen Stewart Snow White and the Huntsman

Universal Pictures Snow White and the Huntsman 2 Kristen Stewart Statement. The official statement from Universal Pictures regarding the fate of Kristen Stewart in Snow White and the Huntsman 2 contradicts earlier reports (Snow White and the Huntsman 2: No Kristen Stewart, David Koepp Sequel) that the star had been exiled from future installments in the franchise.

The official Universal Pictures statement on Kristen Stewart and Snow White and the Huntsman sequel:

We are extremely proud of Snow White and the Huntsman and we’re currently exploring all options to continue the franchise. Any reports that Kristen Stewart has been dropped are false.

I always thought it was weird that Universal Pictures would get rid of Stewart over a first time director when she is the main focus of the film. It looks as though the people at Universal Pictures are thinking with their heads and their wallets.

Snow White and the Huntsman also starred Toby JonesSam ClaflinLily ColeBob HoskinsDave LegenoVincent ReganEddie MarsanNoah HuntleySam Reid, Chris Hemsworth, Charlize Theron, Ian McShane, and Nick Frost.

I thought, when you said a Kristen Stewart statement, that she was going to tell us about another affair she’d had behind Robert Pattinson’s back! 🙂

  • I feel sorry for Rpatz and Rupert’s wife.

Kristen made a personal mistake in her affair…i do not think it was right by any means however like any person i feel she should not be “removed/fired” for a mistake in her personal life..unless it leads to charges…just like any other normal person she shouldnt be removed from the sequal..she is a great actress! Always has been..

Personally? I can’t stand Kristen Stewart. I can’t. Tried and failed epically at it. She makes no real facial expressions! They’re all the same! You can smack-talk this comment but who cares. It’s my opinion anyway. I do feel bad for the Hemsworth family, though. First having to suffer through Miley Cyrus – THEN having to know that their other son was in a movie with Kristen Stewart? Really… I do feel sorry for them; and they have my apologizes in regard to Hollywood not really listening to their smart fans and are instead listening to their wallets and to the supposed ‘fame’ that is Kristen Stewart. Who is really only famous BECAUSE of her scandals and affairs and will, more than likely, end up like many other ‘child stars’. Bad – and a great embarrassment to their generation. I’m 21 and I’m almost ashamed to be that age considering how everyone else my age acts. Really people, grow up.

Oh! And back on topic: I don’t think they should have signed her on for the sequel. Movies have been known to replace lead roles from time to time and not often do people really bat an eyelash at the change in actors or actresses. No one would have been offended. Really. I’m certain Kristen Stewart could have signed on with an entirely different movie or movie franchise and not have cared over much. And if she did? Tough luck, kid; it’s Hollywood. Suck it up and eat your ice cream.
