THE GREEN INFERNO (2015) Movie Trailer 4: No Good Deed Goes Unpunished.

The Green Inferno Trailer 4

The Green Inferno Trailer 4 Has Been Released. Eli Roth‘s The Green Inferno (2015) movie trailer stars Lorenza Izzo and Richard BurgiThe Green Inferno‘s plot synopsis: “A group of student activists travels to the Amazon to save the rain forest and soon discover that they are not alone, and that no good deed goes unpunished.”

We are in full swing for Eli Roth’s latest horror/exploitation film. Yesterday we reported on new movie stills being released by the production company, BH Tilt. Last week, a short trailer in somewhat of a movie clip form was released. After more than one year after we got the initial trailer, poster, and plot synopsis of the film, we are now treated to the, dare I say, final, official trailer for Eli Roth’s The Green Inferno.

To be frank, this is more of the same. The “father knows best” teaser is almost fully included here, the airplane crash scene, though slightly extended here, is something we’ve also seen already. We do get a few more glimpses at the indigenous cannibals, though, which is nice. All in all, its a competent trailer. The acting is a bit stiff, some of the lighting looks iffy, but, honestly, as long as Roth keeps the pace up, makes the violent set-pieces realistic, and gives our protagonist something we can root for – I’m all in.

Again, if you’re not hooked on this premise or anything regarding the film, I highly recommend Devin Faraci’s now two year old review from 2013’s Fantastic Fest screening. High praise from a smart man who writes well.

The Green Inferno also stars Sky Ferrera, Matías López, Ariel Levy, Aaron Burns, and Kirby Bliss Blanton.

I grew up in Hamburg to a German father and Ecuadorian mother. Obsessive student of film, Hip-Hop, and stand-up comedy. I love the dark dreambox that is the cinema auditorium. I love mountains and the ocean, but am equally exhilarated by the jungle of the city. I hope to one day create something that hits someone in the brain with thunderous effect.
