The Vampire Diaries: Season 6 Episode 5: The World Has Turned and Left Me Here‘s plot synopsis: Homecoming is around the corner! There is a party in a corn maze but a devastating accident turns things around quickly which makes things go from fun to bad in an instant.

When Elena (Nina Dobrev) invited Liam (Marco James) to the swimming party to hook up with Caroline (Candice Accola), she opened a door and became an object of interest for him. She has now decided to invite Liam to attend a party at the corn maze.

Caroline decides to place homecoming festivities on hold when Stefan (Paul Wesly) returns and brings Ivy (Emily Chang) with him. The dance gets more interesting when Ivy realizes she’s hungry and needs options.

The Vampire Diaries: Season 6 also stars Candice Accola, Zach Roerig, Emily Chang, Marco James, Michael Trevino, Michael Malarkey, Steven R. McQueen, Vincent Farrell, and Jodi Lyn O’Keefe.
