Tricked Trailer. Paul Verhoeven‘s Tricked (2012) international movie trailer stars Peter Blok. Tricked‘s plot synopsis: “The drama, taglined: ‘Lies always backfire’, focuses on real estate tycoon and womaniser Remco (Peter Blok – Black Book). During his birthday party thrown by his wife, his successful lifestyle takes a turn for the worse. His business partners, are scheming behind his back to sell him out. And to make matters worse, both his current mistress and his former office-fling, show up uninvited with one of them pregnant. All is not what it seems in this tale of passion, betrayal and disintegrating relationships.”
Besides Black Book, I have never seen a Paul Verhoeven drama before. I would like to see what he does with this beyond this preview trailer. Its too bad they give away a major twist at the end of this international movie trailer.
