WAR HORSE (2011) Movie Trailer: Steven Spielberg, Jeremy Irvine

Jeremy Irvine, War Horse 2011, 01

The War Horse Trailer has premiered. Steven Spielberg‘s War Horse (2011) movie trailer stars Jeremy Irvine, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Hiddleston, David Thewlis, and Emily Watson. War Horse‘s plot synopsis: “Set against a sweeping canvas of rural England and Europe during the First World War, “War Horse” begins with the remarkable friendship between a horse named Joey and a young man called Albert, who tames and trains him. When they are forcefully parted, the film follows the extraordinary journey of the horse as he moves through the war, changing and inspiring the lives of all those he meets—British cavalry, German soldiers, and a French farmer and his granddaughter—before the story reaches its emotional climax in the heart of No Man’s Land.”

This film looks as though it may have few layers to it. I see multiple storylines running through this movie trailer. The imagery is what you expect from Steven Spielberg: brillant. Since this is a war film, I am going to guess that this film will be rated R but it currently has no rating.

War Horse also stars Peter Mullan, Niels Arestrup, Toby Kebbell, David Dencik, Rainer Bock, Robert Emms, and Johnny Harris.
