A HOLOGRAM FOR THE KING (2016) Movie Trailer: Businessman Tom Hanks in Saudi Arabia

Tom Hanks A Hologram for the King

A Hologram for the King Trailer. Tom Tykwer‘s A Hologram for the King (2016) movie trailer stars Tom Hanks, Ben Whishaw, Tom Skerritt, Sarita Choudhury, and Sidse Babett Knudsen. A Hologram for the King‘s plot synopsis: based on the novel by Dave Eggers, “Cultures collide when an American businessman (Tom Hanks) is sent to Saudi Arabia to close what he hopes will be the deal of a lifetime. Baffled by local customs and stymied by an opaque bureaucracy, he eventually finds his footing with the help of a wise-cracking taxi driver (Alexander Black) and a beautiful Saudi doctor (Sarita Choudhury).”

Watching Tom Hanks play a befuddled business man is almost akin to watching Will Ferrell play a similar role expect Hanks is more readily able to portray that his character is not always in that state. This film seems like the male version of How Stella Got Her Groove Back, which is not a bad thing.
