AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.: Episode 3.17: The Team: Trailer & Clip [ABC]

Natalia Cordova-Buckley Juan Pablo Raba Luke Mitchell Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. The Team

TV show trailer & clip for ABC’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. The Team. ‘The Team,’ in this case, being Daisy’s (Chloe Bennet) Secret Warriors, to be precise. Of course, when I think of it in those terms, I find myself wondering if the wrong element of the show got spin-off status. Oh, well – better not to risk a sure thing on a pilot, I guess.

Thanks to an act of Giyera (Mark Dacascos), Coulson’s (Clark Gregg) Caterpillars must take flight, in order to pick up the slack. Unfortunately, slacking may be the least of Team Coulson’s problems, as one the Caterpillars may turn out to be a moth in butterfly disguise. As there simply aren’t enough Inhumans in the roster, this suggests more loose play with source characters.

It may also shed some light on Daisy’s vision of free floating fire; but first things first.

The Yo-Yo (Natalia Cordova-Buckley) comes back to Mack (Henry Simmons) – speaking English, and all, no less – but has to settle for bringing the rest of the team along, as part of the rescue. With May (Ming-Na Wen) looking a little worse for wear than we last saw her, I’m hoping this episode kept her at least as busy as the last.

If a rematch is not in order, I demand at least a resumption of hostilities, with a rematch option.

As for the whole Agency shattering revelation thing, it might be a bit early for that… and a hard sell, post-Ward reveal (the first one – in case any a yuse wise-acres was askin’).

‘The Team’ features Iain De Caestecker, Elizabeth Henstridge, Luke Mitchell, Juan Pablo Raba, Gabriel Salvador, Rob Silverman, Brett Dalton, and Powers Boothe. It airs Tuesday, Apr. 19, at 9:00pm EST, on ABC.
