Aladdin Trailer

Guy Ritchie‘s Aladdin (2019) teaser trailer stars Mena Massoud. Aladdin‘s plot synopsis: “ALADDIN is the exciting tale of the charming street rat Aladdin, the courageous and self-determined Princess Jasmine and the Genie who may be the key to their future. Directed by Guy Ritchie, who brings his singular flair for fast-paced, visceral action to the fictitious port city of Agrabah, the film is written by John August and Ritchie based on Disney’s “Aladdin.”

I wish they showed a bit more of the film in this trailer. For what is visible in the film, the film looks good. This could be another in a string of live-action hits for Disney.

Aladdin also stars Will Smith, Naomi Scott, Marwan Kenzari, Navid Negahban, Nasim Pedrad, Billy Magnussen, Numan Acar, and Kamil Lemieszewski.

What actor is playing what character in the film:

Egyptian-born Canadian actor Mena Massoud (from the Amazon series “Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan”) as the titular Aladdin, WIll Smith as the Genie, Marwan Kenzari as sorcerer Jafar; Navid Negahban as Princess Jasmine’s father, The Sultan; Nasim Pedrad as Princess Jasmine’s best friend Dalia, and Billy Magnussen as Prince Anders.

Guy Ritchie and John August write the screenplay for this film.
