Fox’s Almost Human Beholder TV Show Trailer Plot and Images.  Almost Human: Season 1, Episode 12, ‘Beholder,’ looks at the darker side of cosmetic eugenics; namely, a question of the lengths a criminally envious natural-born would go to, in order to attain the special qualities of the genetically engineered.

DNA CRIMES OF THE FUTURE ARE INVESTIGATED ON AN ALL-NEW “ALMOST HUMAN” MONDAY, FEBRUARY 24, ON FOX.

When Det. Kennex and Dorian investigate the murder of a “chrome,” there are no signs of trauma, other than a very small pinprick on the back of his neck. As the investigation unfolds, it’s revealed that the murder suspect is tapping into the DNA of his victims in pursuit of perfection.

‘Beholder’ revisits the world of “Chromes,” the genetically modified humans from the season’s tenth episode, ‘Perception;’ but rather than indulgence in performance enhancement, the Chromes are now the target of natural-born Eric Lathem’s (Michael Eklund) quest for self-improvement. Whether Det. Valerie Stahl (Minka Kelly) gets any more mileage out of her own status, as a Chrome, remains to be seen.

The trailer to ‘Beholder’ focuses on Det. Kennex (Karl Urban) and Dorian (Michael Ealy) pursuing suspect Dr. Curt McCann (John Shaw), while engaging in some good old fashioned Spock & McCoy banter (for which, Urban has been… practicing).

‘Beholder’ co-stars Mackenzie Crook, Michael Irby, Lili Taylor, and guest-stars Tony Cox as Di Carlo; Jesse Hutch as Jake Bellman; Rhonda Dent as Judy Wood; Tommy Douglas as Brian Barrow; Matthew Harrison as Dr. Amir; Emilie Ullerup as Sarah Courtney; Alex Duncan as April Ross; Amanda Paller as Lucy; and Sophie Lui as Claire Chang. ‘Beholder’ airs Monday, Feb. 24 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
