The Archetype Short Film Trailer has premiered. Aaron Sims‘ Archetype (2011) Short Film Trailer stars Robert Joy, David Anders, and Elle Newlands. Archetype‘s plot synopsis: “RL7 is an eight foot tall combat robot. Only problem is he’s starting to remember once being human. Now on the run from an all powerful corporation that will stop at nothing to destroy him, RL7 desperately searches for the truth behind his mysterious memories before it’s too late.”
I really look forward to good tech, scifi movies and Archetype looks like one of them. For some reason, when I watch this short film trailer, I think of futuristic actioner Chrysalis and SyFy’s Caprica. Why I think of Caprica is obvious: both deal with people trapped in a machine.
Needless to say, I am looking forward to seeing the Archetype short film. The effects look excellent and I have enjoyed Robert Joy’s work over the years.
