Arrow: Season 5 Break the Rules Trailer

A new Arrow: Season 5 TV show trailer entitled ‘Break the Rules’ has been released by The CW. In this new promo, it seems like Green Arrow (Stephen Amell)’s prohibition about killing is gone. In ‘Break the Rules,’ Green Arrow’s body count stacks up pretty quickly. The impressive action sequence also stack up pretty quickly.

The new team training scenes were excellent (the new team looking at the uniforms of the old team was quite a moment) and Dolph Lundgren showing up was a welcome surprise. Season 5 of Arrow is not pulling any punches. We have already discussed this and other issues in our Season 5 Preview podcast for Arrow.

Arrow: Season 5’s plot synopsis (spoilers): “After Laurel’s death and the departures of both Diggle and Thea from Team Arrow, Oliver takes to the streets solo to protect Star City’s citizens as the Green Arrow. With Felicity guiding him from the bunker, Oliver is forced to deal with a city that has become overrun with both criminals and a slew of new (and painfully inexperienced) vigilantes. Watching Oliver try to balance his jobs as both the mayor and also the protector of Star City, Felicity suggests he form a new team, but Oliver resists. However, when a deadly new criminal, Tobias Church (guest star Chad L. Coleman), enters the picture, Oliver realizes the best thing for the city might be a new team of superheroes. Meanwhile, the flashbacks take us to Russia where Oliver faces off against the Bratva.”

Arrow: Season 5 also stars Madison McLaughli, Wil Traval, David Ramsey, Willa Holland, Paul Blackthorne, Chad L. Coleman, Rick Gonzalez, Kory Grim, Echo Kellum, Aaron Pearl, Emily Bett Rickards, Josh Segarra, and Ryan S Williams.
