Batman: The Killing Joke’s Theaters Increased to 1000

300 new theaters are being added to the one day theatrical release for Batman: The Killing Joke (2016). That brings the total number of movie theaters to 1000 for the Batman animated motion picture. Batman: The Killing Joke is only showing for one day, July 25, 2016, in national movie theaters. Batman: The Killing Joke will be showing twice on July 25, once at 7:30 p.m. and then at 10:00 p.m.

Premiering at the premiere at the 2016 San Diego Comic Con, Batman: The Killing Joke is being released on Digital HD on July 23, 2016 and on DVD / Blu-ray on August 2, 2016.

Batman: The Killing Joke‘s plot synopsis: based on the graphic novel by Alan Moore and Brian Bolland,  “As Batman hunts for the escaped Joker, the Clown Prince of Crime attacks the Gordon family to prove a diabolical point mirroring his own fall into madness.”

Batman: The Killing Joke stars Mark Hamill, Tara Strong, Ray Wise, and Kevin Conroy.
