5 LGBTQ Replacements for Ruby Rose as Batwoman

Ruby Rose has come to the decision to not return for Season 2 of Batwoman, leaving The CW no choice but to recast the superhero role.

Warner Bros. Television, The CW, and Berlanti Productions announced that the new role would be given to someone in the LGBTQ community. Here’s my top 5 picks for who I think should be chosen. These picks go from my least to my most favored choice.

Top 5 LGBTQ Replacements for Ruby Rose as Batwoman

Raven Symone Peoples Choice Awards Red Carpet

5. Raven-Symoné

This is a long shot, and I consider it my “wild card” pick. She has the acting ability, age, and experience that the CW is looking for. However, I feel as though Batwoman wouldn’t necessarily be her taste. Nonetheless, I thought I would diversify this list as much as possible with picks that not everyone would think of.

Ellen Page Smiling Chair

4. Ellen Page

An interesting pick, Page has some experience in a similar atmosphere as she was in X-Men: The Last Stand, X-Men: Days of Future Past, and Super. However, she seems to be out of her prime, which is why she is ranked 4 but she has the acting skills for sure.

Cara Delevingne

3. Cara Delevingne

Delevinge is very well known, which I think is a trait The CW is looking for. Plus, she has already been a part of the DC Universe with her role in Suicide Squad.

Halsey Tbs Music Awards Red Carpet

2. Halsey

With almost no experience acting, this again would bring about that “wow” factor for the fans. I think the chances of this happening are slim, but I would like to see them choose her.

Kristen Stewart Fidanzata Foto Instagram

1. Kristen Stewart

To me, Stewart checks off all the boxes for this role. She is young, being only 30, very accomplished, and an overall big name – which The CW is looking for. She is widely experienced actress, having been in all genres of films. Stewart would perform well as Batwoman.

Closing Thoughts

Regardless of who is chosen, I think this DC Comics TV series will pick up right where it left off. The show has a loyal fan base, and a fresh face as Batwoman won’t be the worst thing in the world.
