The theatrical movie box office results for August 19, 2022 through August 21, 2022 have been released.

Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero premiered in the Number One spot at the box office with $20.1 Million.

Beast premiered in Second Place at the United States box office with $11.5 Million so far.

Bullet Train was Third at the United States box office with $7.15 Million.

Top Gun: Maverick was Fourth at the United States box office with $5.8 Million for $683.3 Million so far. Worldwide, the film has made over $1.4 Billion.

DC League of Super Pets was Fifth at the box office with $5.7 Million.

These films: Thor: Love and Thunder, Nope, Minions: The Rise of Gru, Where the Crawdads Sing, and Bodies Bodies Bodies rounded out the top ten respectively.

Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero is a 2022 Japanese computer-animated martial arts fantasy/adventure film, directed by Tetsuro Kodama, produced by Toei Animation and written by Dragon Ball series creator Akira Toriyama. It is the twenty-first Dragon Ball feature film overall, the fourth produced with Toriyama’s direct involvement, the second to carry the Dragon Ball Super branding, and the first to be produced mainly using 3D animation. The film follows Piccolo and his former student Gohan as they go on a mission to save the world from the newly reformed Red Ribbon Army.

Beast is a 2022 American survival thriller film directed by Baltasar Kormákur from a screenplay by Ryan Engle, based on a story by Jaime Primak Sullivan. The film stars Idris Elba, Iyana Halley, Leah Sava Jeffries, and Sharlto Copley.
