Box Office

Box Office: August 27-29, 2010

The masses struggled with “the beast” this weekend. The Last Exorcism premiered in the Number One spot at the box office this weekend with $21.3 Million. What is amazing about that take is that the film only cost $1.8 Million to make (not including its advertising budget). Takers premiered in Second Place with $21 Million. The Expendables was Third with $9.5 Million. Eat Pray Love was Fourth with $7 Million. The Other Guys was Fifth with $6.6 Million. Vampires Suck, Inception, Nanny McPhee Returns, The Switch, and Piranha 3D rounded out the top ten respectively.
