Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker premiered in the Number One spot at the box office over the weekend with $175.5 Million. World-wide, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker has made $373.5 Million.

Jumanji: The Next Level was Second with $26.1 Million at the box office for $101.9 Million in the United States. World-wide, Jumanji: The Next Level has made $311.9 Million.

Frozen 2 was Third with $12.3 Million at the box office for $386.5 Million in the United States. World-wide, Frozen 2 has made $1.05 Billion.

Cats premiered in Fourth Place with $6.5 Million at the box office in the United States.

Knives Out was Fifth at the box office over the weekend with $6.1 Million.

Bombshell, Richard Jewell, Queen & Slim, Black Christmas, and Ford v. Ferrari, rounded out the Top Ten respectively.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (also known as Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker) is a 2019 American epic space-opera film produced, co-written, and directed by J. J. Abrams. It is the third installment of the Star Wars sequel trilogy, following The Force Awakens (2015) and The Last Jedi (2017), and concludes the nine-part “Skywalker saga”.[a] It was produced by Lucasfilm and Abrams’s production company Bad Robot Productions, and was distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. The film’s ensemble cast includes Carrie Fisher,[b] Mark Hamill, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Anthony Daniels, Naomi Ackie, Domhnall Gleeson, Richard E. Grant, Lupita Nyong’o, Keri Russell, Joonas Suotamo, Kelly Marie Tran, Ian McDiarmid, and Billy Dee Williams.

Cats is a 2019 musical fantasy film based on the stage musical of the same name by Andrew Lloyd Webber, which in turn was based on the poetry collection Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats (1939) by T. S. Eliot. The film is directed by Tom Hooper—in his second feature musical following Les Misérables (2012)—from a screenplay by Lee Hall and Hooper and features an ensemble cast, including James Corden, Judi Dench, Jason Derulo, Idris Elba, Jennifer Hudson, Ian McKellen, Taylor Swift, Rebel Wilson, and introduces ballerina Francesca Hayward in her first feature-length film role.
