Box Office February 14-16, 2014. The LEGO Movie premiered was Number at the box office over for the second weekend in a row with $50 Million for $130.3 Million so far. About Last Night premiered in Second Place with $25.6 Million. RoboCop premiered in Third Place with $21.7 Million. The Monuments Men was Fourth with $15.5 Million. Endless Love premiered in Fifth Place with $13.2 Million. Ride Along, Winter’s Tale (which premiered this weekend), Frozen, Lone Survivor, and That Awkward Moment rounded out the top ten respectively.

About Last Night is a 2014 American romantic comedy film starring Kevin Hart, Michael Ealy, Regina Hall, and Joy Bryant. Directed by Steve Pink, the film is based on the 1974 David Mamet play Sexual Perversity in Chicago and is a remake of the 1986 film of the same name. The remake features black actors in the lead roles where the roles in the original film were played by white actors. The remake is also set in Los Angeles, California where the original film was set in Chicago, Illinois. Filming took place in late 2012 in Los Angeles. The film was produced on a budget of $13 million.

RoboCop is a 2014 American science fiction action film directed by José Padilha. It is a loose remake of the 1987 film of the same name and stars Joel Kinnaman in the title role.

Screen Gems first announced a remake in 2005, but it was halted one year later. Darren Aronofsky and David Self were originally assigned to direct and write the film, respectively, for a tentative 2010 release. The film was delayed numerous times, and Padilha signed on in 2011. In March 2012, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (successor company to Orion Pictures, the studio that released the original film) announced an August 2013 release, but that was then changed to February 2014. The principal characters were cast from March to July 2012. Principal photography began in September 2012 in Toronto and Vancouver in Canada, with additional locations in Hamilton and Detroit in the United States.

Endless Love is a 2014 American romantic drama film directed by Shana Feste and co-written by Feste with Joshua Safran. A remake of Franco Zeffirelli’s 1981 film of same name and second adaptation of Scott Spencer’s novel, the film stars an ensemble cast headed by Alex Pettyfer and Gabriella Wilde.
