Box Office January 25-27, 2013. Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters premiered in First Place at the box office over the weekend with $19 Million. Mama was Second with $12.8 Million. Silver Linings Playbook was Third with $10 Million. Zero Dark Thirty was Fourth with $9.8 Million. Parker premiered in Fifth Place with $7 Million. Django Unchained, Movie 43 (which premiered this weekend), Gangster Squad, Broken City, and Les Miserables rounded out the top ten respectively.

It is a continuation to the German folk fairy tale “Hansel and Gretel”, which was recorded by the Brothers Grimm and published in 1812.
