Children love CGI cars. Cars 2 premiered in the Number One at the box office over the weekend with $68 Million. Bad Teacher was Second with $31 Million. Green Lantern was Third with $18.3 Million. Super 8 was Fourth with $12.1 Million. Mr. Popper’s Penguins was Fifth with $10.3 Million. X-Men: First Class, The Hangover Part II, Bridesmaids, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, and Midnight in Paris rounded out the top ten respectively.

Cars 2 is a 2011 American computer-animated film produced by Pixar Animation Studios, and it is the sequel to the 2006 film, Cars. In the film, race car Lightning McQueen (voiced by Owen Wilson) and tow truck Mater (voiced by Larry the Cable Guy) head to Japan and Europe to compete in the World Grand Prix, but Mater becomes sidetracked with international espionage.[The film also stars Michael Caine, Emily Mortimer, Eddie Izzard, Jason Isaacs, Thomas Kretschmann, Joe Mantegna, Peter Jacobson, Tony Shalhoub, Guido Quaroni, Paul Dooley, John Ratzenberger, and John Turturro.] The film is directed by John Lasseter, co-directed by Brad Lewis, written by Ben Queen, and produced by Denise Ream. Cars 2 is also the first film John Lasseter has directed since the release of the original Cars in 2006.

Bad Teacher is a 2011 comedy film directed by Jake Kasdan based on a screenplay by Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky, and starring Cameron Diaz, Justin Timberlake, and Jason Segel. Lucy Punch, John Michael Higgins, Molly Shannon, Eric Stonestreet, Phyllis Smith, Thomas Lennon, and Noah Munck.
