Box Office: March 28-30, 2014: NOAH, DIVERGENT, MUPPETS MOST WANTED

Box Office March 28-30, 2014. Noah premiered in the Number One Spot at the box office over the weekend with $44 Million. Divergent was Second with $26.5 Million. Muppets Most Wanted was Third with $11.3 Million. Mr. Peabody & Sherman was Fourth with $9.5 Million. God’s Not Dead premiered in Fifth Place with $9 Million.  The Grand Budapest Hotel, Sabotage (which premiered this weekend), Need for Speed, 300: Rise of An Empire, and Non-Stop rounded out the top ten respectively.

Noah is a 2014 American epic biblical-inspired film directed by Darren Aronofsky, written by Aronofsky and Ari Handel, and loosely based on the story of Noah’s Ark. The film stars Russell Crowe as Noah along with Jennifer Connelly, Ray Winstone, Emma Watson, Logan Lerman, Anthony Hopkins, and Douglas Booth.

Sabotage (previously known as Ten and Breacher) is a 2014 American action thriller/crime drama film, directed by David Ayer, written by Skip Woods and Ayer and starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.
