Box Office: March 6-8, 2015: CHAPPIE, FOCUS, SECOND BEST EXOTIC MARIGOLD HOTEL

Box Office March 6-8, 2015. Chappie premiered in the Number One spot at the box office over the weekend with $13.3 Million. Focus was Second with $10 Million. The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel premiered in Third Place with $8.6 Million. Kingsman: The Secret Service was Fourth with $8.3 Million. The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water was Fifth Place with $7 Million for $148.9 Million so far. Fifty Shades of Grey, McFarland, USA, The Lazarus Effect, The DUFF, and Unfinished Business rounded out the top ten respectively.

Chappie (stylized as CHAPPiE) is an American science fiction film directed by Neill Blomkamp. The screenplay, written by Blomkamp and Terri Tatchell, is based on Blomkamp’s 2004 short film Tetra Vaal.[3] The film stars Sharlto Copley, Dev Patel, Jose Pablo Cantillo, Sigourney Weaver, Hugh Jackman and Watkin Tudor Jones and Yolandi Visser of the South African hip-hop group Die Antwoord.

The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel is a 2015 British comedy-drama film directed by John Madden and written by Ol Parker. It is the sequel to the 2012 sleeper hit film The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel and features an ensemble cast featuring Judi Dench, Maggie Smith, Bill Nighy, Celia Imrie, Penelope Wilton, Ronald Pickup, Diana Hardcastle, Tamsin Greig, Tena Desae, Dev Patel, Lillete Dubey, David Strathairn and Richard Gere.

Unfinished Business is a 2015 American comedy film directed by Ken Scott and written by Steven Conrad. The film stars Vince Vaughn, Tom Wilkinson, Dave Franco, Sienna Miller, Nick Frost, and James Marsden.
