Box Office May 24-26, 2013. Fast & Furious 6 premiered in Number One spot at the box office over the weekend with $98.5 Million. The Hangover 3 premiered was Second Place with $42.4 Million. Star Trek Into Darkness was Third with $38 Million for $146.8 Million so far. Epic premiered in Fourth Place with $34.2 Million. Iron Man 3 was Fifth with $19.4 Million for $367.5 Million so far. The Great Gatsby, Mud, 42, The Croods, and Oblivion rounded out the top ten respectively.

It is the sixth installment in the Fast and the Furious film series. The film stars Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Michelle Rodriguez, Sung Kang, Chris Bridges, Luke Evans, Gina Carano, and John Ortiz. Fast & Furious 6 follows a professional criminal gang led by Dominic Toretto (Diesel) who have retired following their successful heist in Fast Five (2011), but remain wanted fugitives. U.S. Diplomatic Security Service (DSS) agent Luke Hobbs (Johnson) offers to clear the group’s criminal records and allow them to return home in exchange for helping him to take down a skilled mercenary organization led by Owen Shaw (Evans) and his second in command, Dominic’s presumed-dead lover Letty Ortiz (Rodriguez).

Fast & Furious 6 was in development by February 2010 as the first film in the series to move away from the underground car-racing theme of the series’ previous films which was considered to have placed a barrier on audience numbers. Pre-production had begun by April 2011, and principal photography began in London, England in July 2012. Filming locations also included the Canary Islands, Glasgow, and Los Angeles.

Epic (stylized as epic) is a 2013 American 3D computer animated fantasy-adventure comedy-drama film loosely based on William Joyce’s children’s book The Leaf Men and the Brave Good Bugs. It was produced by Blue Sky Studios, and directed by Chris Wedge, the director of Ice Age (2002) and Robots (2005). It stars the voices of Amanda Seyfried, Colin Farrell, Josh Hutcherson, Christoph Waltz, Aziz Ansari, Chris O’Dowd, Pitbull, Jason Sudeikis, with Steven Tyler and Beyoncé Knowles.
