BRIGHTBURN (2019) Movie Trailer 2: A Dark, Disturbing take on the Superhero Origin Story

BrightBurn Trailer 2

Sony Pictures has released the second movie trailer for BrightBurn (2019). The first movie trailer for Brightburn was creepy and daring (I don’t believe that I have ever referred to a movie as daring before). This second Brightburn film trailer looks downright disturbing in all its horror film glory. My favorite part of the trailer Brandon Breyer / Brightburn (Jackson A. Dunn) is being picked on at school and how he reacts to it.

BrightBurn‘s plot synopsis: “What if a child from another world crash-landed on Earth, but instead of becoming a hero to mankind, he proved to be something far more sinister? With Brightburn, the visionary filmmaker of Guardians of the Galaxy and Slither presents a startling, subversive take on a radical new genre: superhero horror.”

David Yarovesky‘s BrightBurn also stars Elizabeth Banks, Meredith Hagner, David Denman, Matt Jones, Jennifer Holland, Steve Agee, Becky Wahlstrom, Elizabeth Becka, Gregory Alan Williams, Christian Finlayson, Stephen Blackehart, Terence Rosemore, Emmie Hunter, and Gwen Parrish.
