Captain Marvel Super Bowl TV Spot and Clip

The Super Bowl movie TV commercial and movie clip for Captain Marvel (2019) has been released by Marvel Studios and Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.  The Super Bowl 53 (Super Bowl LIII) Captain Marvel TV spot and the movie clip show different aspects of the film and new footage. The movie clip is my favorite out of the two. It’s very cool watching former Air Force pilot Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) engaged in hand-to-hand combat on top of a train.

Captain Marvel‘s plot synopsis: “The film follows [Air Force pilot Carol Danvers (Brie Larson), a member of Starforce, an elite Kree military team] as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races. Set in the 1990s, Captain Marvel is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.”

Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck‘s Captain Marvel also stars Maria Rambeau, Samuel L. Jackson, Jude Law, Algenis Perez Soto, Rune Temte, Gemma Chan, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Ben MendelsohnLashana Lynch, McKenna Grace, Annette Bening, and Clark Gregg.

Pinar Toprak composed the music for the film.
